WWebsite Review

This page lists some key sites where you can find further information which might help you.  If you want to desk research, read, see lists of stories of achievement or find out what is happening where, these are good places to start. When you need help to move things forward, call 3PQR.

The relatively new site www.improvementservice.org.uk which has a useful list of other sites and contains up to date information on events and the Improvement Service’s activity.
The IDEA site http://www.idea-knowledge.gov.uk is longer standing, more newsy and leaves one well aware that there is a lot going on, again with its own cross referencing.
The Audit Commission www.audit-commission.gov.uk and Accounts Commission
www.audit-scotland.gov.uk sites all contain useful information and supporting materials. Their probable evidence base give these sites more influence on direction than some might like to admit.

The APSE site reflects advice and debate on the future of many local government services and the SOLACE  www.solace.org.uk reflects on developments from a senior, corporate perspective.

More controversial http://www.cfps.org.uk/ sets out to promote the value of scrutiny in modern and effective government - not only to hold executives to account but also to create a constructive dialogue between the public and its elected representatives - to improve the quality of public services.

Amongst sites for companies known to 3pqr and worth considering for targeted assignments are:
For procurement strategies and related work www.strategicps.co.uk
For impact based consultancy with their own basis of skills and experience www.ad-esse.com
For website design and internet service advice www.augury.co.uk

Reviews of other sites of interest will appear here regularly.              (  Printer Friendly )
